Yeshiva Ketana of Los Angeles has entered its 13th year of providing excellence in chinuch to hundreds of children throughout Los Angeles. From its humble beginnings in a single-family home, Yeshiva Ketana now has a campus with multiple buildings across close to 2 acres in the heart of the Valley Village community.
In 2020 the Yeshiva’s first Sefer Torah was dedicated. Now, through the generosity of two individuals, the Yeshiva’s newest Sefer Torah is being written in memory of Ralph Rubenstein Z”L, a pillar of the Valley Village community.
Over the past decade, very few individuals have helped the Yeshiva like Ralph Rubenstein Z”L (משה בן רפאל). During our formative years, he was quietly behind us, offering support, guidance, and encouragement. When Mr. Rubenstein wasנפטר in 2023, two friends of Ralph decided to sponsor the writing of a Sefer Torah in his memory. This Sefer Torah will be housed in the Yeshiva, together with the Eisenberg Torah, to be used אי׳׳ה by hundreds of תלמידים, creating an everlasting זכות for Mr. Rubenstein’s unique נשמה.
Ralph Rubenstein, through his legendary חסד and צדקה, touched the lives of so many people across the world. To honor his memory and to have a חלק in this special Sefer Torah, we have created a list of dedication opportunities. We encourage you to participate in this beautiful mèn and help perpetuate
the incredible life of רפאל בן משה ז”ל.
